These beaded bracelets with traditional evil eye / ladybug motifs are handwoven on a bead loom with high-quality Miyuki brand glass beads and are finished with an adjustable square sliding knot. They have no metal parts and can be worn comfortably 24/7 without worrying about exposure to water.
The evil eye (also known as the Turkish eye) is a traditional Mediterranean amulet that provides protection by warding off bad luck and negative energy believed to radiate from envious gazes. Ladybugs are also called "lucky bugs" in Turkish and are believed to bring luck to those they land on.
