Ghassoul Clay is a Volcanic Clay naturally high in raw, unprocessed minerals like Magnesium & Potassium. Only found in the Atlas Mountains of Morocco, it has been used for centuries by many different cultures as a cosmetic ingredient, the name derived from the Arabic word Rhassala"to wash," or, "the Mountain of the Washer."

The metallic elements in Ghassoul clay hold a negative charge, drawing out positive charged impurities in the skin, which the soap binds to and washes away. The detoxifying reddish brown clay contains roughly 50% silica, better known as quartz powder, a key ingredient in collagen production which boosts the skins protection and elasticity.

Extracts from evergreen trees such as the Black Spruce, Scots Pine and Cedar are all known to sooth inflamation, with naturally antibacterial, antiseptic and antioxidant properties. Their unmistakable aroma blend brings that feeling of walking along a fresh forrest path straight into your home.
