You can find out more information on how to get there at:
SET UP TIMES
9:00am
Doors open to traders. You have two hours for all loading and setting up. Tables may not be set up in advance but will be there waiting for you to grab.
10:00am
Cut off arrival time for traders. It’s not enough time to get your stall set up before the fair opens*
11:00am
Doors open to customers.
5:00pm
Close of event. Traders must not start packing away before this time. Please pack away your own table.
6:00pm
Exit time. Any traders still in the building will get a fine from the venue (our venues charge per hour).
Traders must be ready by opening time and not start packing away until closing time. It makes the whole event seem unprofessional and isn’t fair on customers. If the event isn’t set up on time, we can’t open as it contravenes our risk assessment and voids our insurance.
LOADING
You will load in through the car park at the venue, which is a totally flat load.
PARKING
On a Sunday, the venue has informed us it is possible to park on the streets nearby, they have also said you can park unofficially at the Tool Station around the corner, please note this is at your own risk.
There are no official car parks in the surrounding area so we recommend taking public transport or being dropped off.
More options can be found on Parkopedia.
TABLES
Tables are included for this event - only 1 so if you have purchased a larger stall, 6ft x 6ft or 12ft x 6ft and require another table then you must bring that yourself.
Please put away your own table.
PROMOTION
As always, the event has been heavily advertised but we always appreciate any extra promotion, particularly on social media. Please tag us in any posts that you share about the event and we will repost where possible.
You can use the Facebook event page to invite local friends and fans, and share photos of the items you will be bringing.
WHAT TO BRING
This venue can be dark if the weather is gloomy outside and the doors cannot be open due to wind. For this reason, we recommend bringing some extra lighting just incase (battery operated).
You can bring tablecloths, mirrors, banners, flyers and business cards. Every item must be labelled with the price. Have a safe place to keep your
valuables and money, preferably on your person.
We recommend bringing your own chair as these are not guaranteed at our events.
Access to power is not always available and is at the venue’s discretion. If you would like power, please let us know in advance and we will try to position your stall near a socket. Bring an extension cord and some tape/matting to cover any loose wires. Your electrical devices must be PAT tested.
Please only bring the products as you have described in the application form. Stallholders may not bring different items unless they have received approval from the Craft & Flea team.
We do not allow: real fur; mass produced items; or items that may be seen as offensive.
FLOORPLAN
The floor plan will be sent out on the Thursday or Friday before the event. If you don’t receive the floor plan, don’t worry – the event manager will be able to direct anyone who is unsure of location.
The floorplan is subject to change on the day. Stallholders cannot request specific locations – we rotate the floor plan in the interest of fairness to everyone. Please do not take a table if you haven’t already paid for one.
If you haven’t hired a table and are bringing your own you will find a gap – speak to the event manager if you have any questions or problems.
FOOD & DRINK SELLERS
Food and drink sellers must have already emailed copies of food hygiene
certificates, public liability insurance, risk assessment and other relevant documentation. You will not be able to trade on the day if you have not sent these to the office. You must display allergen information on your stall at the event.
Happy Trading!
