SET UP TIMES

06:30am

Doors open to traders.

07:45am

Traders must all leave the building due to the venue having a service.

09:00am

Traders allowed back in to finish setting up. You can arrive from 9am if your set up does not take too long.

10:00am

Doors open to customers.

4:00pm

Close of event. Traders must not start packing away before this time.

5:30pm

Exit time. Any traders still in the building will get a fine from the venue (our venues charge per hour).

Traders must be ready by opening time and not start packing away until closing time. It makes the whole event seem unprofessional and isn’t fair on customers. If the event isn’t set up on time, we can’t open as it contravenes our risk assessment and voids our insurance.

Please take all rubbish with you at the end. The venue hire doesn’t cover cleaning charges in order to keep the pitch fees as low as possible.

LOADING

You cannot pull onto the Cathedral grounds to unload due to the ground not being able to take the weight of heavy vehicles. You will need to load in from the street.

You can be here to unload but must move your car afterwards and it must not stay here for the duration of the event.

PARKING

There is no parking on site. The nearest carpark is on Waterloo Road – this is £19 for the day.

WHAT TO BRING

You can bring tablecloths, mirrors, banners, flyers and business cards. Every item must be labelled with the price. Have a safe place to keep your valuables and money, preferably on your person.

We recommend bringing your own chair as these are not guaranteed at our events.

Access to power is not always available and is at the venue’s discretion. If you would like power, please let us know in advance and we will try to position your stall near a socket. Bring an extension cord and some tape/matting to cover any loose wires. Your electrical devices must be PAT tested.

Please only bring the products as you have described in the application form. Stallholders may not bring different items unless they have received approval from the Craft & Flea team.

We do not allow: real fur; mass produced items; or items that may be seen as offensive.

FLOORPLAN

The floor plan will be sent out on the Thursday or Friday before the event. If you don’t receive the floor plan, don’t worry – the event manager will be able to direct anyone who is unsure of location.

The floor plan is subject to change on the day. Stallholders cannot request specific locations – we rotate the floor plan in the interest of fairness to everyone. Please do not take a table if you haven’t already paid for one.

If you haven’t hired a table and are bringing your own you will find a gap – speak to the event manager if you have any questions or problems.

FOOD & DRINK SELLERS

Food and drink sellers must have already emailed copies of food hygiene
certificates, public liability insurance, risk assessment and other relevant documentation. You will not be able to trade on the day if you have not sent these to the office. You must display allergen information on your stall at the event.

Happy Trading!
